How to Write a Thriller Love Story

1. Start with attraction + unease

  • They meet in a normal romantic way

  • BUT something feels off (timing, location, or him/her)

2. Add a secret

  • One of them is hiding something:

    • identity

    • crime

    • past connection

    • double life

3. Build trust… then break it

  • romantic moments

  • vulnerability

  • then a twist reveal

4. Twist (the thriller moment)

  • He was involved in the danger

  • OR she was never the victim

  • OR they were both being used

5. Emotional ending

  • Love survives but changes

  • Or love becomes the betrayal
